Important Information For Patients
Castlegar Medical Clinic is currently not accepting new patients at this time. The Health Connect Registry is a new region-wide patient registry in Kootenay Boundary for people who are looking for a physician or nurse practitioner. You can register for the Health Connect Registry at www.kbhcr.ca or by calling 8-1-1 for 24/7 health advice. Once registered, you will be contacted directly when a primary care provider is available.

We encourage patients to book appointments for prescription refills at least 4 weeks prior to need.

What to expect and how to prepare for your appointment:
- Please come to the clinic wearing a mask if you are unwell.
- Only approved medical/surgical masks are an acceptable face covering in the clinic. Please ensure you bring one for your visit, cloth or home made masks are not acceptable.
Confidentiality and Privacy:
- All of our staff have signed confidentiality agreements and we are dedicated to ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality. We cannot guarantee the privacy of anything sent to us by email so we recommend you contact the office by phone for all inquiries.
Missed Appointments/Cancellations:
- If a patient misses 3 appointments without notifying the clinic at least 48h prior, they will be dismissed from the practice.
