Castlegar Medical Clinic is proud to be a training site for the next generation of medical students and family physicians in the Kootenay Boundary Region.

We work closely with our colleagues throughout the region to teach family practice residents through the Rural Family Medicine Residency program, and we teach 3rd and 4th year medical students for their 2 or 4 week rural family medicine rotation.

We also support  UBC’s  International Medical Graduate (IMG) program to help physicians move to our region from other parts of the world.
